Meet Danielle:
Danielle grew up in New York and received her Bachelor's degree in Studio Art. In 2017 she moved to New Mexico for Graduate school, and graduated from Southwestern College in 2021 with a dual Master's in Art Therapy and Counseling. Danielle’s therapeutic practice is deeply rooted in creating a safe, nonjudgmental space, where clients may feel comfortable to express and explore their authentic selves. Danielle has experience working with multicultural communities, volunteering in schools along with various settings in other countries, working to support youth and their families thrive. As a first generation American, Danielle understands the hardships that often accompany that unique identity. Danielle incorporates wisdom from methods such as humanistic therapy, Art Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, solution-focused therapy, mindfulness practices and more, with an overall holistic and client-centered look at each client’s needs. Danielle believes that true healing happens when individuals feel free to be vulnerable and open, which is why she prioritizes fostering an environment of trust and safety in every session. Danielle values the uniqueness of each person and tailors her approach to meet their specific needs, offering resources that can assist as tools for self-discovery and growth. At the core of her work is the belief that expression—whether through creativity, words, or movement—opens pathways for deeper understanding and transformation. Danielle views therapy as a collaborative process, where clients are empowered to express their emotions and experiences in a way that feels natural to them. Through this, she helps clients connect with their inner wisdom and strength, facilitating a journey toward healing, self-acceptance, and personal growth.
